Knockoutdesign was chosen from 500 applications to participate in Biennale for Landscape Urbanism in the project called 72 HOUR URBAN ACTION that will take place in the end of September in Bat- Yam.

Knockoutdesign został zaproszony przez Instytut Wzornictwa Przemysłowego do przeprowadzenia warsztatów nawiązujących do koncepcji 3R – o którą opiera się wystawa re.produkt 2. Celem warsztatów było przybliżenie pracy projektanta (projektanta, który podąża za koncepcją 3R) uczestnikom, którzy nie byli projektantami. Podczas warsztatów zaprojektowane i wykonane zostały przedmioty z założeniem użycia jak najmniejszej ilości materiału, w miarę możliwości bez użycia materiałów innych niż tektura falista. Uczestnicy starali się ograniczać ilość używanych narzędzi, czas powstawania przedmiotu i ilość powstających odpadów. Efekty były świetne i – co najważniejsze – wszyscy bawiliśmy się super!
Warsztaty odbyły się na Placu Grunwaldzkim w Gdyni 12 i 13 lipca.

Knockoutdesign was commissioned by Institute of Industrial Design to conduct workshops related to the 3R concept – main concept of the re.product 2 exhibition. The aim was to bring closer to participants (non-designers) the aspects of sustainable design. Participants designed and created objects with minimal material usage, using possibly only corrugated cardboard. They tried to reduce amount of tools needed for the production, the time of the production and the production waste. The result was fantastic and – the most important – we all had a lot of fun!
Workshops took place at the Grunwaldzki Square on July 12th and 13th during Gdynia Design Days.

June 14th re.product 2 exhibition has been opened. It was an official opening of both the re.product 2 exhibition and Gdynia Design Day festival. There are some pictures taken at the opening above. re.product 2 – second edition of the exhibition that we designed for SPOT. Foundation in Poznań last year. This time we designed it for Institute of Industrial Design and it will be shown at The Museum of the City of Gdynia as a main exhibition of Gdynia Design Days.
